We start with a site survey. A site survey consists of gathering detailed information about the existing or planned network infrastructure in order to properly assess the project requirements. The site survey takes into account the physical location of computer hardware and your expectations as far as what you would like to accomplish with your network as far as speed and availability are concerned.
